Meetup Notes
In March, the Mesa County Libertarians met for an informal get together (GT) at Red Robin Restaurant. Our table not only included Libetarians, but also Ron Paul supporting Republicans and Democrats. We had an enjoyable evening of discussing our common views on issues and goals for our community.

In January, the Libertarians met for lively discussion over coffee. Ron Bain, former state board member of LPCO was our guest speaker. Everyone participated in the Worlds Smallest Political Quiz to see where they fit on the political map. After the meeting, a few of us met at Chilis to continue great conversation with new friends.

Libertarians in Mesa County hosted the first "Meetup" in December. Steven McDuffie, Libertarian and House of Representatives candidate for District 3, was our guest speaker. Those who braved the icy streets had a discussion about hot-button issues, McDuffie's decision to run against John Salazar, and why he supports Ron Paul. Other issues discussed that evening were taxes and the IRS, the US Constitution in relation to current policy, immigration, and personal freedom.
